Aileen Tan
Aileen Tan has established herself as a prominent figure in the entertainment landscape, boasting over 20 years of experience in television. Her journey began in 1988 when she earned the title of first runner-up and Miss Photogenic in the inaugural Star Search competition, showcasing her potential as a versatile actress adept at tackling various roles.
In 1994, she garnered critical acclaim with a nomination for Best Actress at the Magnolia (Baihua) Awards in China for her portrayal of an undercover cop in "The Blazing Trail." A significant milestone in her career came in 2001 when she won the Best Actress Award at the Star Awards for her remarkable performance in the Chinese drama "3 Women and A Half." That same year marked her transition into English-language dramas with the acclaimed series "Growing Up," followed by her role in "Red Thread," alongside Adrian Pang.
Beyond her acting prowess, Aileen has also excelled as a compere for Chinese variety shows and explored theatre, notably playing a charming character in the Toy Factory production of "I Have A Date With Spring."
