Andy Gill
Andy Gill, born on November 5, 1956, is a distinguished second unit director, stunt coordinator, and performer. He is a member of esteemed industry groups such as the Directors Guild of America (DGA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), and Stunts Unlimited. Over the course of his prolific career, Gill has worked on more than 350 film and television productions, earning recognition for his extraordinary talents both in front of and behind the camera.
Gill’s career began with stunt work in notable films, including Cannonball Run II (1984), Independence Day (1996), Armageddon (1998), and Pearl Harbor (2001). One of his standout moments came when he served as the stunt double for Brent Spiner in Star Trek: First Contact (1996), executing a challenging high-fall stunt.
In his roles as a stunt coordinator and second-unit director, Gill has been instrumental in crafting thrilling action sequences for numerous blockbuster films. His work on the Fast & Furious franchise includes coordinating stunts for Fast Five (2011), Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017), F9: The Fast Saga (2021), and Fast X (2023).
