Plot
Set in a mystical forest during the Druid era, shepherd Céladon and shepherdess Astrée embody a pure love. Misled by a rival, Astrée rejects Céladon, prompting him to leap into a river in grief. Believing him dead, she is unaware that nymphs have saved him. Bound by a vow to remain unseen, Céladon faces numerous challenges to lift the curse. Plagued by love and despair, pursued by nymphs, and forced to masquerade as a woman to stay close to Astrée, he navigates a treacherous landscape of desire and loyalty.
