Over her illustrious career, she has garnered numerous prestigious awards, including Golden Globes, Emmys, Grammys, BAFTAs, and an Academy Award.

Andrews first captivated audiences as a child performer before making her Broadway debut in 1954 with the musical The Boy Friend. She quickly ascended to fame with iconic roles in beloved productions like My Fair Lady and Camelot, as well as in classic films such as Mary Poppins (1964), for which she received the Academy Award for Best Actress, and The Sound of Music (1965). Additionally, Andrews has penned several children's books and released her autobiography, Home: A Memoir of My Early Years, in 2008.
