Uriah Shelton
Uriah Shelton was born on March 10, 1997, in Dallas, Texas. Just a month later, his family relocated to Magnolia Springs, Alabama, a quaint river town situated approximately 40 miles south of Mobile. During his upbringing, Uriah cultivated a variety of interests, including martial arts, piano, and soccer. At the age of seven, he took a modeling class alongside his cousin Charli, which opened the door to a talent competition in Orlando. Following this event, he caught the attention of several talent agencies in New York and Los Angeles. Embracing his newfound passion for acting, Uriah and his mother made the decision to move to Los Angeles to pursue his career in the entertainment industry.
He quickly began landing commercial work while honing his martial arts skills, ultimately becoming the 2006 ATA Tae Kwon Do California State Champion across all categories, including sparring and extreme weapons. With this achievement under his belt, Uriah shifted his focus back to acting and appeared in several television shows, such as Without a Trace, The Ghost Whisperer, Mad TV, Dirty Sexy Money, The Suite Life, Monk, Trust Me, Trauma, Hallmark's The Nanny Express, and the independent film Alabama Moon. Recently, he completed filming as Henry Matthews in Lifted, directed by Lexi Alexander, where he plays a young singing talent alongside notable musicians Ruben Studdard and Trace Adkins. In addition to his acting endeavors, Uriah trains in wushu, XMA (Extreme Martial Arts), guitar, ballet, and hip-hop. He is also a devoted dog owner, with a German shepherd named Tempest and a Cock-a-poo named Libby, and he cherishes memories of his cousins Charli and Kristian back in Alabama.
