Theresa Saldana (August 20, 1954 – June 6, 2016) was a talented American actress and author whose career spanned both film and television. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Rachel Scali, the devoted wife of Police Commissioner Tony Scali, in the 1990s series *The Commish*. Her compelling performance earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 1994.
Saldana's film career was marked by notable roles, including her performance as Lenore La Motta, the wife of Joe Pesci's character, in the iconic 1980 film *Raging Bull*. She also featured in Robert Zemeckis's ensemble comedy *I Wanna Hold Your Hand* and starred alongside Kirk Douglas and Nancy Allen in Brian De Palma's *Home Movies* in the same year.
