William Thomas Hader Jr. (born June 7, 1978) is a prominent American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He is best known for creating, producing, writing, directing, and starring in the HBO dark comedy series Barry, which aired from 2018 to 2023. Hader's exceptional work on the show has earned him eight Emmy nominations, with two wins to his name.

Before his success with Barry, Hader gained fame as a cast member on NBC's iconic variety show Saturday Night Live from 2005 to 2013. During his tenure, he received four Primetime Emmy nominations and a Peabody Award, becoming particularly recognized for his impressions and his beloved character Stefon Meyers, a quirky New York tour guide featured on Weekend Update who humorously highlights eccentric nightlife spots.

In addition to his television accomplishments, Hader co-created and stars in the IFC mockumentary series Documentary Now! alongside Fred Armisen and Seth Meyers, which has been well-received since its debut in 2015.

Hader's film career includes memorable supporting roles in hits like You, Me and Dupree (2006), Superbad (2007), and Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), as well as leading roles in The Skeleton Twins (2014) and Trainwreck (2015). He also portrayed adult Richie Tozier in It Chapter Two (2019).
