Plot

In "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," Peter Bretter, an aspiring musician, faces heartbreak when his girlfriend, actress Sarah Marshall, leaves him for rock star Aldous Snow. Devastated, Peter's best friend Brian encourages him to take a vacation in Hawaii to clear his mind. Upon arriving in paradise, Peter encounters the charming receptionist Rachel Jansen, but his hopes for a fresh start are dashed when he unexpectedly runs into both Sarah and Aldous during his stay.
