Steve Landesberg
Steve Landesberg (November 23, 1936 – December 20, 2010) was a distinguished American actor and comedian celebrated for his portrayal of the intellectual and composed detective Arthur P. Dietrich on the beloved ABC sitcom Barney Miller. His exceptional performance in this role earned him three nominations for the prestigious Emmy Award. Landesberg was a key figure in the show, contributing to 124 episodes from the conclusion of the 1975 season until the series wrapped up in 1982.
