She gained fame for her portrayal of Lorraine Baines-McFly in the iconic Back to the Future trilogy from 1985 to 1990, along with her roles as Beverly Switzler in Howard the Duck (1986) and Amanda Jones in Some Kind of Wonderful (1987).
