Joanna Lumley

Dame Joanna Lamond Lumley DBE FRGS, born on May 1, 1946, is a multifaceted British talent renowned as an actress, presenter, former model, author, television producer, and activist. She achieved fame for her iconic portrayal of Patsy Stone in the beloved BBC sitcom *Absolutely Fabulous*, which aired from 1992 to 2012, earning her two BAFTA TV Awards. In addition, she garnered a Tony Award nomination in 2011 for Best Featured Actress in the Broadway revival of *La Bête*. Her accolades include the Special Recognition Award at the National Television Awards in 2013 and the prestigious BAFTA Fellowship award in 2017.
