Plot
After her husband Alex, a television star, opts for divorce to pursue a political career, Maddy finds herself in a downward spiral. Desperate and overwhelmed, she resorts to shoplifting, landing her in jail and losing custody of her baby. Determined to reclaim her child, Maddy devises a daring escape plan with her friend Gillian, who is also evading legal trouble due to credit card fraud. As she navigates her newfound freedom, Maddy must locate the couple who adopted her son while grappling with lingering feelings for the self-centered Alex.
