Anthony Chinn
Anthony Chinn (1930 – 22 October 2000) was a distinguished Guyanese actor who made a significant mark in the film and television industry while residing in England, with a career that unfolded over more than forty years.
Chinn's early career saw him in uncredited roles in iconic James Bond films, including Dr. No (1962), Goldfinger (1964), and You Only Live Twice (1967). He later portrayed a Taiwanese businessman in A View to a Kill (1985), showcasing his versatility. Among his notable performances, Chinn took on the role of Kitai in John Huston's espionage thriller The Kremlin Letter (1969) and depicted a Chinese assassin in The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976). His appearances continued to captivate audiences, as he featured as a Chinese doorman in Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978), and played Mohan in the adventure classic Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). Chinn's talents extended into the realm of science fiction when he appeared as Mactilburgh's technician in the acclaimed film The Fifth Element (1997).
