Plot
A dedicated priest arrives at a remote Chinese mission, accompanied by a young native girl who has joined him on his journey. Tasked with taking over for an aging priest unable to maintain the church, he faces an unexpected threat when Communist soldiers occupy the mission. Tragedy strikes as their leader assaults the girl, leaving her pregnant, but he soon grows disillusioned with his ideology. As tensions escalate, the priest, girl, and two others make a desperate escape toward the border, pursued relentlessly by Communist forces determined to recapture them.
