Matthias Habich
Matthias Habich, born on January 12, 1940, is a prominent German actor who has made significant contributions to film and television, boasting over 110 appearances since his debut in 1965. Originally from Danzig, which is now known as Gdańsk in Poland, he currently resides in Paris.
Throughout his extensive career, Habich has taken on roles in numerous acclaimed films. Notably, in the 2001 film *Enemy at the Gates*, which centers around the Battle of Stalingrad, he portrayed General Friedrich Paulus, who later rose to the rank of Field Marshal. Additionally, he appeared in the 2004 film *Downfall*, where he played the character Werner Haase.
