Jennifer Runyon
Jennifer Runyon is a versatile American actress celebrated for her memorable roles in both sitcoms and dramas, as well as in several made-for-television films. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she is the daughter of DJ Jim Runyon. Runyon's career took off in the early 1980s, where she made a notable mark with her portrayal of Sally Frame on the soap opera *Another World* from 1981 to 1983. She then captivated audiences as Gwendolyn Pierce on *Charles in Charge* between 1984 and 1985 and stepped into the iconic role of Cindy Brady in *A Very Brady Christmas* in 1988, succeeding Susan Olsen.
In addition to her television work, Runyon appeared in the blockbuster *Ghostbusters* (1984) alongside Bill Murray and starred in the comedy film *Up the Creek* during the same year. She also made her mark in the 1991 episode of *Beverly Hills, 90210* and played the lead in *The In Crowd* (1988), as well as featured in the pilot episode of *Quantum Leap*. Her film credits include a supporting role in the World War II parody *A Man Called Sarge* (1990) and her final appearance in the 1993 movie *Carnosaur*.
After retiring from acting, Runyon resides in San Clemente, California, with her husband, Todd Corman, who previously coached the women's basketball team at Concordia University from 2004 until his resignation in 2008.
