Plot

Bob McGraw, a perennial college student, is still navigating his twelfth year with a carefree attitude. Along with his misfit friends Irwing, Gonzer, and Max, he reluctantly accepts the challenge to represent their university in a competitive raft race. While the group bonds with the charming Heather Merriweather, they also attract the ire of various rivals, including a tough marine team and a group of elite Ivy League competitors hell-bent on victory. Amidst the chaos of the race, friendships are tested, and unexpected alliances form in the pursuit of glory.
