Elizabeth Anne Caplan, widely known as Lizzy Caplan, was born on June 30, 1982, and has established herself as a prominent American actress. She gained critical acclaim for her portrayal of Virginia E. Johnson in the Showtime series *Masters of Sex* from 2013 to 2016. More recently, her role as Libby Epstein in the FX on Hulu series *Fleishman Is in Trouble* (2022) further showcased her talent, earning her nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards.

Caplan's acting career began with a role in the cult classic television series *Freaks and Geeks* (1999–2000).
