Macaulay Culkin, born on August 26, 1980, is a prominent American actor who became a household name after starring in John Hughes's 1990 blockbuster, Home Alone. This role catapulted him to the forefront as one of the most recognized child actors of the 1990s.

In 1991, he featured in Only the Lonely and delivered a memorable performance in the critically praised film My Girl. Culkin reprised his iconic character Kevin in the sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), which also achieved significant box office success. He took a darker turn in his next project, The Good Son (1993), portraying a profoundly disturbed child.
