Plot
In "My Girl," Vada Sultenfuss, a young girl fixated on mortality, grapples with her mother's passing and her father's funeral home business. She harbors a crush on her English teacher and enrolls in a summer poetry class to catch his attention. Her loyal best friend, Thomas J., who has numerous allergies, stands by her side through her struggles.
