Armelle, born Armelle Leśniak on July 23, 1969, is a talented French actress, comedian, and screenwriter. After completing her studies in khâgne, she began her career as a costume assistant. Recognizing her unique physique and vibrant personality, renowned director Coline Serreau cast her in a supporting role in the 1996 film "La Belle Verte," marking a significant step in her acting journey.

In 2001, Armelle gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Maéva Capucin, the head of archives in the popular television series "Caméra Café." This character continued to resonate with audiences as she reprised the role in the film adaptations "Espace Détente" and "Le Séminaire." That same year, she appeared in the critically acclaimed film "Amélie," directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, further solidifying her presence in the French cinema landscape.
