Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born on January 31, 1974, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, is a celebrated Canadian actress recognized primarily for her captivating portrayal of Bo Dennis in the critically acclaimed Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk hails from a diverse background, with a British father and a mother with Turkish Cypriot-English roots. She has a brother and sister.
After completing her secondary education at Fredericton High School, Silk pursued a Bachelor of Arts at St. Thomas University, graduating in 1997. Her acting journey began in the theater, performing in various productions with Theatre St. Thomas. Seeking broader opportunities, she relocated to Toronto in 1999, marking the beginning of her television career with a guest role in the 2000 series Twice in a Lifetime.
Silk gained prominence in 2001 with a recurring role as Deb, a flight attendant, in the popular Canadian sitcom The Newsroom. Throughout the early 2000s, she diversified her acting portfolio with appearances in notable series such as Smallville, Stargate Atlantis, and The L Word.
