Seth Gilliam

Seth Gilliam, born on November 5, 1968, is an accomplished American actor recognized for his work on both stage and screen. He gained widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Father Gabriel in AMC's acclaimed post-apocalyptic drama, The Walking Dead, where he made his debut in Season 5.

Gilliam's career includes notable performances on HBO, where he first captivated audiences as Clayton Hughes, a corrections officer who becomes a prisoner in the gritty series Oz. He later portrayed Sergeant Ellis Carver, a dedicated Baltimore police detective, on the critically acclaimed series The Wire, sharing the screen with actors such as Lance Reddick and J.D. Williams. Additionally, he had a significant recurring role as Dr. Alan Deaton on the popular series Teen Wolf.
