Robert Armstrong
Robert Armstrong (November 20, 1890 – April 20, 1973) was a prominent American actor, best known for his portrayal of Carl Denham in RKO Pictures' iconic 1933 film, King Kong. His memorable line, "'Twas beauty killed the beast," has become a classic cinematic quote. Later that same year, Armstrong reprised his role as Denham in the sequel, Son of Kong.
In the late 1950s, he transitioned to television, taking on the role of Sheriff Andy Anderson in the syndicated western series State Trooper, starring alongside Rod Cameron. Armstrong's contributions to film and television left a lasting legacy, marking him as a notable figure in the entertainment industry.
