Plot

William Poster is a gossip columnist for the Morning Gazette, eager to feature anyone's secrets as long as his name is attached. His primary source is Peggy, his showgirl friend, who provides him with juicy tidbits. However, Bill's careless sharing of personal stories soon leads him into serious trouble, alienating both friends and foes alike. As the fallout intensifies, he finds his career and life hanging by a thread, forcing him to confront the consequences of his actions.
