Melanie Stevens, born on November 29, 1992, in South Wales, is a talented actress and singer whose journey in the performing arts began at the tender age of six. Raised by her mother, Sue, a dedicated nurse, and her father, Rik, a business consultant, Melanie developed her passion for the stage early on. Her formative years included a brief stint in Melbourne, Australia, but it was in Bridgend that she truly flourished, becoming an enthusiastic member of the Bridgend Youth Theatre. It was here that she caught the eye of Roger Burnell, who offered her the opportunity to portray Angela in the ITV series "Running Pains," marking her debut in the world of television.

Pursuing her artistic ambitions further, Melanie honed her craft at the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
