Ago Roo, born on May 11, 1946, in Visusti, within the Saadjärve municipality of Tartu County, is a distinguished former actor from Estonia. He completed his education at Elva Middle School in 1964, subsequently pursuing his passion for performance at the Theater Arts Department of the Tallinn State Conservatory, where he finished his studies in 1968.
Roo began his professional acting career at the Rakvere Theater, where he worked for a brief period from 1968 to 1969. He then joined the Endla Theater in Pärnu, contributing his talents there from 1969 until 1978. Following that, he became a prominent member of the Tallinn City Theatre, where he acted for over three decades, from 1978 until 2009.
