Ron Palillo, born Ronald Gabriel Paolillo, discovered his passion for the performing arts at the young age of 14 by launching a summer theater in his hometown of Cheshire, Connecticut. His parents, Gabriel and Carmel Paolillo, were pleasantly surprised when the venture turned a profit. After graduating high school, Ron pursued his love for drama at the University of Connecticut at Storrs, where he actively participated in numerous theatrical productions.

Following his graduation, Ron enhanced his skills by touring with a company that performed Shakespearean plays, gaining invaluable experience in classics such as "Macbeth," "The Taming of the Shrew," and "A Midsummer Night's Dream." His journey then took him to a repertory company in Miami before he made his way to New York City. There, Ron landed a significant role in the off-Broadway hit "Hot L Baltimore," where he captivated audiences for over a year. This performance led to a lead role in the televised musical special "The Last Sweet Days of Isaac."

Ron continued to broaden his horizons through various tours, sharing the stage with luminaries like Mickey Rooney in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Jan Sterling in the poignant play "Summer Brave." He is the eldest of four siblings; his brother Richard is an eye surgeon, Robert is a salesman, and his sister Ann has pursued a career in education.
