Michael Ensign
Michael Ensign, born on February 13, 1944, is a notable American actor hailing from Arizona. Standing at 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 m), Ensign possesses British and American heritage and has spent considerable time residing in both the United States and the United Kingdom. He honed his acting skills at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, where he laid the foundation for a successful career. Ensign dedicated the first eleven years of his professional journey to the theater scene in Britain, during which he was part of the esteemed Royal Shakespeare Company from 1972 until 1975. In 1978, he starred as the lead character, Donald, in the musical 'Irene' at the Adelphi Theatre in London. His theatrical credits further include performances in productions such as The Curse Of The Starving Class at the Royal Court Theatre and The Red Devil Battery Sign at the Phoenix Theatre, along with various English Repertory Theatres. Although he has a rich theater background, much of Ensign's film and television work has taken place in the United States. His contributions to the arts were recognized in 2009 when he received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the College of Fine Arts at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Additionally, Michael Ensign is a proud member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
