Carmen Electra, born Tara Leigh Patrick on April 20, 1972, is a multifaceted talent known for her work as a glamour model, actress, television host, singer, and dancer. The European-American and Native-American star rose to prominence through her striking appearances in Playboy magazine and as a host on MTV's popular dating show, Singled Out. She is perhaps best recognized for her role as Leilani "Lani" McKenzie on the iconic television series Baywatch, where she captivated audiences from 1997 to 1998 and later reprised her role in the 2003 reunion film.

Hailing from Sharonville, Ohio, Electra is the daughter of Patricia, a singer, and Harry, a guitarist. She honed her dance skills at the Dance Artists studio and studied at the School for Creative and Performing Arts. Her professional journey began in 1990 as a dancer at Kings Island amusement park, eventually leading her to California in 1991, where she caught the attention of music legend Prince.
