Sandra Ceccarelli
Sandra Ceccarelli, born on July 3, 1967, is a celebrated Italian actress known for her impactful performances in both film and theater. She hails from a creative lineage; her father, Franco Ceccarelli, was a guitarist for the iconic 1960s and 1970s rock band Equipe 84, and her mother, Sandra von Glasersfeld, is the daughter of esteemed philosopher Ernst von Glasersfeld.
Ceccarelli made her cinematic debut at just sixteen in Giuseppe Bertolucci's 1985 film, *Segreti segreti*. After honing her craft with acting studies under Carlos Alsina and Giorgio Albertazzi between 1995 and 1997, she transitioned from stage to screen. Her return to film came in 2001 with notable roles in Ermanno Olmi's *The Profession of Arms* and Giuseppe Piccioni's *Light of My Eyes*. For her performance in the latter, she was awarded the prestigious Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival.
