Artus
Artus, born Victor Artus Solaro on August 17, 1987, in Le Chesnay, France, is a prominent comedian and actor who gained widespread recognition through the television program "On n’demande qu'à en rire" on France 2 from 2011 to 2014. Growing up in a small town near Montpellier, Artus spent several years in Switzerland, residing in Lugano and Montreux. He initially pursued studies in technology before honing his craft at Cours Flor.
His big break came when he joined Laurent Ruquier's show, where he showcased his comedic talents through 86 skits, earning acclaim with consistently high scores, including numerous performances surpassing 90 points. This exposure helped solidify his status within the French entertainment industry.
Beyond his television success, Artus expanded his career by appearing in various radio and television programs while performing live shows across France. In 2015, he debuted his solo stage act, "Dont point," further establishing himself as a versatile performer.
In the fall of 2016, Artus participated in the seventh season of "Danse avec les étoiles" on TF1, where he partnered with dancer Marie Denigot, ultimately securing a commendable third place in the competition.
In 2017, he made his mark as a playwright with the premiere of "Duels Davidejonatown," co-written with Romain Chevalier, at the prestigious Théâtre Les Feux de la Rampe in Paris, showcasing his creative range beyond performance.
