Peter Denyer
Peter John Denyer, born on August 20, 1947, in Dartford, England, was a prominent British actor celebrated for his memorable performances in various sitcoms. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of the lovable character Dennis Dunstable in the iconic series Please Sir! and its spin-off, The Fenn Street Gang. Notably, Peter brought this teenage role to life while already in his twenties. His talent also graced the silver screen, appearing in film adaptations of Please Sir! (1971) and Never Mind the Quality, Feel the Width (1973), as well as the glam rock musical Never Too Young to Rock (1975).
Beyond these roles, Denyer showcased his versatility in other television productions, including Dixon of Dock Green, Moody and Pegg, and the sitcom Dear John. He also had a semi-regular part in the series Agony, where he portrayed one half of a gay couple.
