Her career began in the 1960s as a dancer on the short-lived television variety show "Malibu U," which celebrated the vibrant rock 'n' roll culture of the era. Wymer gained additional recognition as one of the dancers in Leonard Nimoy’s whimsical music video for "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins."
In August 1968, she graced the cover and featured in a nude pictorial for the adult magazine "Best for Men," showcasing her allure beyond the screen. Wymer's filmography includes notable performances such as her role as a coven witch in the 1969 horror film "The Witchmaker." She further enchanted audiences as the free-spirited hippie pixie, Candy Wilson, in the drive-in classic "The Babysitter."
