Amy Abigail Nuttall is a talented English actress and singer, celebrated for her diverse roles in both television and musical theatre. She gained widespread recognition for portraying Chloe Atkinson in the long-running ITV soap opera *Emmerdale* from 2000 to 2005. Nuttall further showcased her acting prowess as Ethel Parks in the critically acclaimed series *Downton Abbey* during its second season in 2011-2012, and she also made an impression as "Little" Jane Butterfield in *Beetlejuice Beetlejuice*.

Born in Blackburn, Lancashire, Nuttall honed her craft at Bury Grammar School for Girls and Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. Early in her career, she starred as Princess Ismene in *Aurelius* with the National Youth Music Theatre, captivating audiences in venues like the Tyne Opera House and the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.

At just 17, she made history as the youngest actress to understudy and perform the lead role of Christine in the National Tour of *The Phantom of the Opera*.
