The Keeping Room (2014)

Plot

Set against the backdrop of the Civil War's final days, Augusta, a Southern woman, faces off against two marauding, intoxicated soldiers bent on destruction. After narrowly escaping an assault, she rushes back to her secluded farmhouse, where her sister Louise and their enslaved servant Mad await. When the soldiers hunt Augusta down for vengeance, the three women must band together, employing their ingenuity and courage to protect their home. As the attacks intensify and become increasingly erratic, their resourcefulness and resilience are put to the ultimate test in a fight for survival.
