Borivoje "Bora" Todorović, born on November 5, 1930, in Belgrade, then part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, was a prominent Serbian actor celebrated for his significant contributions to film and theater. He was the brother of the esteemed actress Mira Stupica and the father of actor Srđan Todorović. Despite experiencing the loss of his father during his formative years, Bora initially had no intentions of pursuing acting after completing secondary school and serving in the military. However, inspired by his sister's dedication to the craft, he soon discovered his own passion for acting.

Todorović enrolled in the Belgrade Drama Arts Academy and made his stage debut at the Belgrade Drama Theatre. His extensive career spanned several decades, during which he starred in numerous acclaimed Yugoslavian films, including the beloved comedies "Who's That Singing Over There" (1980) and "The Marathon Family" (1982), as well as powerful dramas like "Time of the Gypsies" (1988) and "Underground" (1995). Between 1961 and 1983, he was a key member of the innovative "Atelje 212" theater in Belgrade, showcasing his versatility in various roles.

In October 2002, Todorović graced the stage of the Zvezdara Theatre in Belgrade with his performance in "Larry Thompson." Later in life, he divided his time between Prague and Belgrade. Todorović was married to Carolyn Kilkka and had two daughters, Dana and Tara, along with a child from a previous marriage. He passed away on July 7, 2014, after suffering a stroke, leaving behind a rich legacy in the arts.
