Ginzo Matsuo

Ginzō Matsuo (松尾 銀三, Matsuo Ginzō; December 26, 1951 – August 25, 2001) was a prominent Japanese actor, voice actor, and narrator, hailing from Nakatsu, Oita, Japan. Originally named Kōichi Matsuo (松尾廣一, Matsuo Kōichi), he made significant contributions to the entertainment industry throughout his career. In 1997, he founded his own agency, Gin Production, while he was affiliated with Aoni Production at the time of his passing.

Matsuo gained widespread recognition for his memorable voice roles in popular anime series. He is perhaps best remembered for portraying Hemu-Hemu in the beloved children's show "Nintama Rantarō" and Ginnosuke Nohara in the iconic series "Crayon Shin-chan." His distinctive voice and engaging performances left a lasting impression on audiences, earning him a dedicated fan base.
