Stanislav Yanevski
Stanislav Yanevski, born Stanislav Rumenov Yanevski on May 16, 1985, in Sofia, Bulgaria, is a notable actor primarily recognized for his portrayal of Viktor Krum in the 2005 fantasy blockbuster, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Yanevski spent five years living in England and also had a period of residence in Israel. While studying at Mill Hill School in the UK, he crossed paths with fellow Harry Potter star Harry Melling. Interestingly, Yanevski did not initially pursue acting; he was not involved in drama studies and had no significant aspirations in the field. His path to stardom began when casting director Fiona Weir discovered him and encouraged him to attend an acting workshop. This opportunity led to his audition for the role of Viktor Krum, where he triumphed over 650 other candidates, many of whom auditioned in Sofia.
Beyond the Harry Potter franchise, Yanevski appeared in the horror film Hostel: Part II, directed by Eli Roth. His performance in these projects has established him as a recognized figure in the film industry, showcasing his talent and versatility as an actor.
