Plot
Set in 1944, after the D-Day invasion’s failure, Germany has successfully occupied England and is advancing toward Wales. In a secluded Welsh village close to the English border, a group of women awakens to find their husbands missing. Unbeknownst to them, the men have retreated into the mountains to join the Resistance, leaving the women to grapple with their unexpected solitude. As they navigate their new reality, they must confront the implications of their loved ones' choices and the harsh realities of war encroaching upon their lives.
