Kimberley Nixon
Kimberley Nixon, born on September 24, 1985, in Bristol, is a talented Welsh actress recognized for her diverse roles across television and film. She gained prominence for her portrayal of Sophy Hutton in the BBC One period drama "Cranford" and has featured in popular films like "Wild Child" and "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging." Additionally, Nixon captivated audiences as Josie Jones in the Channel 4 comedy-drama "Fresh Meat" and as Sarah Pearson in the BBC Two series "Hebburn."
Raised in Ynysybwl, Wales, alongside her six brothers, Nixon attended Coedylan Comprehensive School, now known as Pontypridd High School. She further honed her craft at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff, where she trained with fellow actors Tom Cullen and Aneurin Barnard.
