Milan Marić, born in 1990 in Belgrade, Serbia (formerly SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia), is an accomplished actor known for his diverse roles across film and theater. His acting journey began in his teenage years at the youth theater DADOV, leading him to the Faculty of Dramatic Art, where he honed his craft.

Marić made his film debut in 2010 with the short film *Thursday*, directed by Nikola Ljuce. He gained further recognition with his role as Koki in the television film *New Chance* and the series *The Scent of Rain in the Balkans* in 2011. His collaboration with Ljuce continued with the short film *Sergeant* in 2012, alongside Miloš Timotijević.

In 2014, he showcased his talent in the ensemble cast of the drama *From Paupers to Princes*, which explored the complexities surrounding the breakup of Yugoslavia. Concurrently, he made his mark in professional theater with performances in notable plays such as *Behind the Bars*, *Workers Dying Singing*, and *Suspicious Face*, eventually becoming a permanent member of the Yugoslav Drama Theater after graduating in 2013.

Marić's career highlights include portraying historical figures during the centenary of World War I, such as Gavrilo Princip in *Little is my grave* and King Milan I of Serbia in *Santa Maria della Salute*. In 2018, he starred as young Vukan Nemanjić in the series *Nemanjić Family - the Birth of the Kingdom* and took on the lead role in the Russian biopic *Dovlatov*, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival. His dedication to his craft is evident as he learned Russian in just three months for the role.
