Plot

Nadja, a former human rights advocate, now serves as an assistant to Milanka, the head of Magnolia, a corporation that collaborates with foreign investors to transform a defunct metalworking factory into farmland. When Boris, Nadja's long-time ex-boyfriend and a colleague from her previous research organization, returns from Italy, he begins working for Savić, a businessman with political aspirations. As Nadja and Boris reconnect through their professional dealings, they find themselves ensnared in a complex web of personal, corporate, and governmental interests, where the outcomes will significantly affect the lives of many.
