Kevin Patrick Dobson is a renowned American actor celebrated for his compelling performances in film and television. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Detective Bobby Crocker, the loyal partner to Lt. Theo Kojak, played by Telly Savalas, in the acclaimed CBS crime series *Kojak*. Dobson's journey in the industry began with a minor role in the 1971 film *Klute* and appearances in popular shows like *The Mod Squad*, *Emergency!*, and *Cannon*.

His pivotal moment came in 1972 when he signed with Universal Studios, landing the role of Crocker after a tenacious auditioning process that showcased his military background.
