Plot

George Dupler’s career takes a nosedive when he loses his temper and is reassigned to the night manager position at a 24-hour drugstore. Tensions rise when he advises his son Freddie to end his affair with Cheryl Gibbons, a distant cousin and suburban housewife. Unbeknownst to George, Cheryl attempts to seduce him. Chaos ensues at home when Freddie confronts his father after catching Cheryl serving him dinner while her husband Bobby is at the fire station. As his family life unravels, George leaves his wife Helen, quits his job, and invites Cheryl to live with him in a warehouse.
