Lennart Jähkel
Carl Gustav Lennart Jähkel, born on September 27, 1956, in Piteå, Norrbotten county, is a prominent Swedish actor celebrated for his versatile performances across theater, film, and television. Growing up in Timrå, he is the son of Carl and Carin Jähkel and has German ancestry on his father's side. Lennart pursued his passion for acting at Statens scenskola in Malmö from 1979 to 1982, and since then, he has made significant contributions to the performing arts.
Jähkel's film career includes notable performances that earned him critical acclaim, such as his roles in "Suxxess" (2002) and "Så som i himmelen" (2004), both of which garnered him nominations for the prestigious Guldbagge Award. He has been a part of the Stockholm City Theater since 1996, showcasing his talent in a range of theatrical productions.
In addition to his film and theater work, Jähkel has lent his voice to video games, notably voicing Mulle in the "Mulle Meck" series. He also ventured into music, releasing the song "Timrå tisdag" under the alias Hank Lennart & the Sentimental Cowboys, celebrating the history of the Timrå IK hockey team.
