Plot

A team of Swedish efficiency researchers travels to Norway to analyze the kitchen habits of Norwegian men. Folke Nilsson (Tomas Norström) is tasked with observing Isak Bjørvik (Joachim Calmeyer) while sitting in a high chair, strictly prohibited from speaking to him. In response, Isak ceases to use his kitchen, opting instead to watch Folke from a hole in the ceiling. As the two solitary men navigate their initial post-war distrust, they gradually form a bond, discovering friendship amidst their unconventional circumstances.
