Nigel Lindsay is a talented English actor with a diverse body of work spanning television, film, and theatre. He garnered significant attention for his portrayal of Barry, a Muslim convert, in Chris Morris's acclaimed film *Four Lions*, earning a nomination for Best British Comedy Performance in Film at the British Comedy Awards in 2011. His theatrical accomplishments are equally impressive; he recently starred alongside Sir Antony Sher in Arthur Miller's *Broken Glass* at the Tricycle Theatre, a role that earned him the 2011 Whatsonstage Theatregoers' Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Lindsay's stage credits include notable performances such as Mugsy in the original 1995 National Theatre production of Patrick Marber’s *Dealer's Choice*, and he took on the role of Max in Tom Stoppard's *The Real Thing*, which won three Tony Awards on Broadway in 2000. He also played Ariel in the 2004 Olivier Award-winning production of Martin McDonagh’s *The Pillowman*, featuring Jim Broadbent and David Tennant. Other significant roles include Nathan Detroit in Michael Grandage’s *Guys and Dolls* at the Piccadilly Theatre in 2005, and Lenny in Harold Pinter’s *The Homecoming* at the Almeida Theatre in 2009. In 2008, he received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the WOS Awards for his work in *Awake and Sing*, directed by Michael Attenborough. Lindsay is set to take on the title role in the West End production of *Shrek the Musical*, commencing in May 2011 at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
