David Edward Williams, known as David Walliams, was born on August 20, 1971. He is a prominent English actor, comedian, writer, and television personality, celebrated for his collaboration with Matt Lucas on the iconic BBC sketch comedy series *Little Britain* (2003–2006) and *Come Fly With Me* (2010–2011). From 2012 until 2022, Walliams served as a judge on ITV's popular talent show *Britain's Got Talent*. A successful children's author, he has sold over 50 million copies of his books globally.

In 2007, Walliams portrayed Greville White in the television drama film *Capturing Mary*. He created and starred in the BBC One sitcom *Big School* from 2013 to 2014, and in 2015, he took on the role of Tommy Beresford in the BBC drama series *Partners in Crime*, also writing and starring in the sketch series *Walliams & Friend*. His outstanding contributions to *Britain's Got Talent* earned him the National Television Award for Best TV Judge in 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2020. In 2022, he joined the judging panel for the tenth season of *Australia's Got Talent*.

Walliams ventured into children's literature in 2008 with HarperCollins, gaining acclaim akin to Roald Dahl's, and having works like *Mr. Stink*, *Gangsta Granny*, and *Billionaire Boy* adapted into televised films. In recognition of his charity efforts, including challenging swimming feats, he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2017 Birthday Honours.
