Dan Stevens
Daniel Jonathan Stevens, born on October 10, 1982, is a prominent English actor recognized for his versatile performances across film and television. He gained widespread fame for his portrayal of Matthew Crawley in the acclaimed ITV period drama series "Downton Abbey," which aired from 2010 to 2012.
Stevens showcased his dynamic range in various film roles, including the chilling character David in the 2014 thriller "The Guest," and Sir Lancelot in "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb," released the same year. He further captivated audiences as The Beast in Disney's live-action "Beauty and the Beast" (2017), and portrayed Lorin Willis in the legal drama "Marshall" (2017). That year, he also took on the role of Charles Dickens in "The Man Who Invented Christmas." In the 2020 comedy "Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga," he played the flamboyant Russian singer Alexander Lemtov.
From 2017 to 2019, Stevens starred as David Haller in the FX series "Legion," and he appeared in the Netflix horror film "Apostle" in 2018.
